Introducing our ProGrade Remy Hair: ethically sourced, sustainably made, and 100% real. Hand-crafted for quality with zero synthetic fibers. No more tangles, just gorgeous locks.
At Sitting Pretty we're committed to providing you with the highest quality halo hair extensions made with our proprietary hair formula, ProGrade Remy Hair. We understand the importance of ethically sourced and sustainably produced hair, which is why we take great care in selecting only AAA quality, real human hair that has been tested and certified by EthicallyRun.
Our ProGrade Hair is relied on by leading hair experts, celebrity hair stylists like Britt Sully and Emma Chen, and notable public figures like Lauren Kurtis, Nikkia Joy and Jasmine Hand for its supreme softness, durability, and natural blend.
Why is ProGrade different from normal Remy Hair? In the last 3 years the hair industry has taken several big hits. The cost of good quality and ethically sourced hair has nearly tripled. This means that most price-competitive hair extension brands have had to raise their prices and lower the hair quality by cutting corners and selling hair that no longer meets the definition of Remy.
We believe in doing our part to make the hair industry more ethical and sustainable. That's why we carefully hand-select and ethically source real human hair for our ProGrade Remy halo hair extensions, which are purchased at a fair price and tested for purity. We regularly audit all aspects of our supply chain to ensure it is transparent and humane. We take pride in providing you with high-quality hair extensions that not only look and feel amazing but are also ethically and sustainably made.
We are also constantly working to reduce our footprint, by reworking our packaging with the latest sustainable solutions (a constant work in progress) and situating our warehouses as close as possible to our customers, to reduce the last-mile travel when we ship orders to our customers.
Just like you, we’re trying to do our best to keep this world clean for the next generation.
We also have a zero-tolerance policy for synthetic fibers in our halo hair extensions, and we take steps to ensure that only real human hair is used in our products. While it's not unheard of for synthetic fibers to make it into the real hair supply chain, we do everything we can to prevent this from happening. If by some rare chance synthetic fibers do make it into our processing, we take full responsibility and will offer you an exchange.
The hair in our halo extensions undergoes a rigorous processing procedure to achieve the desired color and texture. The raw hair materials we use come from Chinese and Indian hair, which typically ranges from black to dark brown. To create the perfect color for you, the hair is processed for up to 28 days, washed and soaked in precisely measured chemicals. We also industrially straighten, fumigate, and sanitize the hair to ensure that it's clean and hygienic by the time it reaches you.
Every halo hair extension we make is crafted by hand using real human hair, which means that no two halos are exactly alike. As with natural hair, each halo may have slight variations in texture, color, and how it takes to dye. This is because every human's hair is different. But rest assured that each halo is expertly made and carefully checked for quality.
We understand that tangles and matting can be frustrating, which is why we recommend using our Tangle Taming Brush to brush out your hair every few hours and applying a light hair oil to the ends to smooth them out. If you're still experiencing issues, please contact our customer care team for assistance. We're committed to providing you with the best halo hair extensions and the best customer experience possible.
