As a rule of thumb, we suggest that your halo should last between 6 to 12 months, however, with proper maintenance, there is no reason it cannot last much much longer.
In fact, it is not uncommon for a well-kept halo to last up to a couple of years.
One of the major benefits of halos is that they hold colour and style much longer than natural hair or permanent hair extensions.
You should not need to tone your halo more than once or twice, depending on how much you are washing it, which you should only need to do once every 2-3 months.
Less if you are only wearing your halo for special occasions!
As far as styling, your halo can hold curls for months.
