We're hair to help!
What I mean by this is;
We're meticulous about the quality of our Halo Hair Extensions.
We use ONLY the best quality hair and materials.
From ethical sources.
And we have strict quality assurance procedures to make sure every Halo we create is perfect.
Because we're building a lasting brand - not a fly-by-night.
And to build a brand we have to build trust with our customers.
We have to earn your trust.
We can't speak for everyone.
There are a lot of hair extension products on the market.
Many of them are great. But equally, many of them are terrifyingly bad.
So just be aware of that.
In this article we're going to cover a lot of ground.
You'll get the answers to the following questions:
Let's dig in...
The wire we use to make our Halos is very strong.
It's made of industry grade clear nylon.
It's essentially fishing wire. Made to pull a heavy fish out of water.
So it can lift 5kg off the ground without stretching or snapping.
Yes, we've tried :)
And our heaviest Halo weighs 160g (0.16kg).
The ends of the wire that attach to the halo have been triple knotted.
So that it doesn't slip.
The Sitting Pretty Halo is super secure and easy to wear.
Because the wire is clear it's VERY hard (almost impossible) for anyone to see.
Watch this video to see how easy it is to make sure your halo wire is absolutely hidden.
No, it's not heavy.
The weight of the Sitting Pretty Halo is evenly distributed across the crown of your head.
Which makes it feel very light and super comfortable.
There are no heavy clips or anything else that pulls on your hair either.
Most of our customers say that they forget they're even wearing their SP Halo at all!
Here's a video of Hannah, one of our beautiful customers giving the Sitting Pretty Halo a rave review:
This is a question we get a lot.
And the answer is...no :)
The SP Halo is designed to sit on such an angle on your head (see the video below) that it's wedged on firmly.
The Halo basically tucks under your occipital bone, which is the bone at the back of your head.
And the wire sits about an inch away from your hairline at the front.
This creates the wedging effect that holds the halo in place on your head.
Your own hair then sits on top of your halo and keeps it in place.
If you're reckless with your halo then there is a possibility that it could fall off.
Although we're yet to see that :)
Here's a video which explains exactly how to put on the halo and why the Halo Extension doesn't fall off:
Unfortunately, we can't speak for all halo manufacturers in the market.
And as many of the people who are reading this will have experienced;
Sometimes the hair you get isn't even real hair.
We've heard the craziest stories.
Someone even told us they received Yak hair... I know right!!
At Sitting Pretty we absolutely assure you that what you get is real hair.
The Sitting Pretty Halo is made of 100% Real Human Remy Hair - European Texture.
Which means it's soft and long-lasting.
The best way to experience this for yourself is when you receive your halo just feel how soft and strong it feels.
You will also experience the quality of it from how long it lasts.
The Sitting Pretty Halo will last between 6-12 months in good care.
Sometimes even longer.
Our halo is made from high quality, durable materials. They're manufactured to strict QA guidelines.
We know we're not the cheapest (and we're far from the dearest).
Our Halo is incredible value for money.
We stand by our product and provide a 30 day exchange guarantee.
We hope this empowers you as the consumer to ensure you get the right colour!
And even though we provide this guarantee only a very, very small fraction of our customers will ever return their halo for exchange.
Picking your colour is easy. Watch the video below:
The second part of the question was; "can you use hot tools with the Sitting Pretty Halo":
Yes you definitely can.
Because Sitting Pretty Halos are made with real hair of incredible quality you can pretty much treat it the same way you treat your own hair.

Hell yeah you can!

Here we show you how to put the Sitting Pretty halo in a ponytail.
FINE, MEDIUM and THICK refers to the 3 different thicknesses we offer.
So before comparing their differences...
...let's start with what's the same :)
These are the characteristics that our 3 different thicknesses have in common:
The only difference between the three is the thickness.
The FINE Halo is 60 grams of 100% Remy Hair.
It's designed for girls with quite fine hair who want more volume.
If you have VERY, VERY fine hair you can use the FINE Halo to get some extra length as well.
The MEDIUM Halo is 100 grams of 100% Remy Hair.
It's designed for women with thin-to-regular hair who want both volume AND length.
And because the MEDIUM Halo has more volume you can keep it longer.
The THICK Halo is 160 grams of 100% Remy Hair.
It's the same thickness as the FINE and MEDIUM Halo combined.
And it works best for girls who have medium-to-thick hair who want A LOT of hair!
It adds length and volume, and buckets of both.
Here's a video showing you the difference, and how to choose the right thickness for you:
Some people can just tell.
Others will take a punt (and they're normally right).
But in some instances you just need to ask :)
If you're not sure about which colour you are just send us an email:
You should expect to hear back from us within 24 hours (Mon-Sat).
We'll be able to tell you which colour is going to be your best match.
We'll also let you know which weight (FINE, MEDIUM or THICK) will work best based on what you're trying to achieve.
And we'll be able to tell you if there is any work that you might need to do to make the halo work for you.
Keep in mind that if you aren't happy with your Halo colour you 30 days to exchange it.
So there's really no risk!
Here's a video with some handy tips for choosing the right colour halo:
This is a common question...
Because the Halo is a pretty foreign concept to most people.
It's pretty new.
But once you have one yourself you'll realise how easy it is to use.
We find this is always the case.
Here's a video that shows how to put on the Halo Extension:
The short answer... "It depends."
Some girls will receive their Halo Extension and can start wearing it right away.
But that's not always the case.
It really depends on what your own hair, and what it currently looks like.
If you've got blunt ends;
Then they'll need to be softened/feathered to make sure the Halo blends.
If your hair is really short;
You'll need to take quite a bit of length off the Halo Hair and layer the hell out of it so that it blends.
In many cases you'll need to have the Halo layered to blend as well.
If you do need to get some work done any hairdresser can do it.
Because cutting the halo is easy.
Here's a video showing you how to cut the Halo Hair so that it blends:
The second part of this question was; "Can the Sitting Pretty halo be coloured?"
And the answer is yes, our halo hair extension can be coloured.
Because we use only high quality hair our Halos take really well to colouring.
The only thing you should try to keep in mind is;
Just like any hair extension, the halo hair has been highly processed.
So it's best not to colour them too often.
You should avoid bleaching them (colouring from dark to blonde).
Bleach can cause irreversible damage.
If you do decide to colour them;
Try to only colour them a few shades darker.
